Final Update

In: Life in Port Moody, People, Rants

We received a phone call from The City of Port Moody regarding our complaint about our neighbour’s dog and it appears it has been deemed Aggressive. This results in an increase in their annual dog license fee and a requirement that the dog be muzzled when in any public area. I don’t believe the dog is actually aggressive but rather it just doesn’t like my dog and my dog doesn’t like it. This does, however, force them to leash their pet and ensures we don’t have a repeat performance. And if we do then things will become considerably more uncomfortable to our neighbourhood a-holes.

Update #2

In: Life in Port Moody, People, Rants

Well, the assholes signed for and received the registered letter we sent containing a copy of the vet bill and a letter advising we will take them to court if they don’t pay the bill. And what did they do? Nothing. But then again, what would expect from assholes?

Port Moody is close to signing a partnership agreement with a city in China as it moves ahead with plans for a high-technology business park. The agreement with Tianjin, Port Moody’s ‘sister city’ near Beijing is to provide our city with information as local officials and business people create a proposal for the high-tech park.

  • Performing at the top of the Hyatt Regency
Once it got to 9pm it was time to pack up and head home. Parking again was very expensive for this event. $29.00! When you factor in gas and AFM dues it really takes a bite out of your net pay. So it's important to make sure as a corporate performer to charge enough to still make a decent wage after your perceived expenses. […]

  • Performing solo guitar for Colliers International
At 9pm it was time to pack up and head home. One crazy thing about being outside, up 31 floors leaning on the railing you get that creepy feeling in your legs from the height. It's so weird that it bothers me as I have a pilots license, have flown aerobatics in small single engine planes, flown hang gliders and ultra lights. I guess not being strapped i […]
  • Wedding reception performance at the Eagle Harbour Yacht Club
This performance will begin in the club house at 4pm and end at 8pm. It's also a little more formal than most of the corporate performances. Usually our attire is all black. (Black dress pants and a black dress shirt). Today will be suit and tie. […]
